|
|
I've been searching everywhere and can't find an answer. I understand that I need to get a notarized copy, which I then send for apostille. However:
I have no idea how to get a notarized copy in Korea. I don't know where to find a notary here, and if their seal would even be accepted for apostille.
I'm not sure where to get an apostille. I'm guessing I could use an apostille service, which is fine, but I haven't heard anything on this.
Does anyone know the procedure for getting a degree apostilled without leaving the country? |

You need to tell us what country your degree is from before anyone can really help you. |

I emailed my diploma to RushDocs. They got it notarized and apostille and express mailed it back to me in Korea. Took about a week total including the mailing time. |

You send a scanned copy of the degree(s) to Rushdocs, not the original.
Contact them on their website. They were very responsive to all my questions. All responses were sent within 24 hours.
They did an outstanding job. They will send it to you overseas if you want so no need for someone stateside. I had the FBI forward the CBC directly to them as well. It worked great. |

I just received a reply from rushdocs 8/21
"Due to changes in US Department of State policies and procedures,
RushDocs has taken the decision to suspend our service offerings."
Does anyone know of any similar service? |

Thanks for the sites ghostrider. I was hoping to send a copy of diploma by E-mail to be apostilled as one poster above has claimed to have done. |

E-mail a scanned copy to your university's registrar's office. They can print it out and notarize it and then it can be sent to your state to have an apostille attached.

That's very sad if Rushdocs is stopping their service. I don't know what changes were made because it looks to be the same at least on the State Department's website.
https://www.uslegalization.com/apostille.htm
This is one service you can try. It sounds like they will do what rushdocs did. Email them and see if they can help you out.
"Educational Documents
US Legalization can apostille educational documents issued by accredited U.S. schools, colleges and universities. All of these apostilles will be issued from the MD Secretary of State. The turn around time is one business day. Our service fee is $35.00 per apostille."
They also offer apostilles at the federal level but don't mention the FBI:
"US Legalization will apostille federal documents from the US Department of State, i.e.; documents issued from the FDA, USDA, USPTO, EPA, US Dept. of Homeland Security, or the Federal Court. The turn around time is one business day.Our service fee is $37.00 per apostille for most countries."
Here's a link to their Korean page:

If anyone has used them please post a review of the company. |
