Hi there

Just want to share my experience with the above - we exchange some friendly emails I was then told the HR manager Danny J Kim would call me.

Danny calls me no introduction into the phone call sounds like he can't be bothered talking, asks me if I have my docs - which I have already scanned and emailed to him - then a long pause - so I try to break the ice by saying how do I apply which i'm rudely told 'this is you applying' he then proceeds do you have any questions? when I try to ask a question he then interrupts and to say my accent is too strong he will be in touch and hangs up.

The phone call was timed at under 3 minutes absolute waste of time and I would urge others not to contact this recruiter as i would hate others to feel the way I did after speaking to him. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I have contacted plenty of recruiters but have never experienced anything like this - PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Ok, this guy was certainly rude and unprofessional. But even if he had been polite I don't expect the outcome would have been any different. Recruiters have more than enough applicants on their hands and they have the ability to be super-picky now. "Oh, accent, bye" YBM is one of the big players in this country and you can't just blow them off.

That's too bad. I dealt with him a few years ago and he seemed friendly enough, if not necessarily warm and affectionate. He spoke to me for a long time trying to tell me about the job. But, I took a public school job instead. Still here. Always thought if I had to go hogwan I'd apply there as much as anywhere.

Sooner this recession ends the better, I guess.
