Hey I don't care... that guy is going to deflower that chick so what's the problem...

I speak korean and I don't care what anybody says as long as I can communicate what I have to say and they communicate back. just a very few people want to pretend they don't hear me so Ive leanred to force them into speak straight korean (instead of Eng or Konglish)

...anyway this was done on dictation on my Samsung Galaxy phone which I love, so Ill let it pass

I wonder if he got her number after doing the commercial. that would be worth it. she's pretty hot. Koreans love making people look like fools. it isn't a race thing. they make Koreans look like fools all the time too. check out that show running man or gag concert or any thing on tv. all the guys look either really tough, gay, or fools.

I hate it when people only offer a link in the opening post of a thread. Learn to summarize, people, or at least use the quote button.

Anyway, the ad is fine. I realise some people love to get worked up about these things, but it's an ad. It pokes fun at a guy who gets caught watching porn by his girlfriend.

You're not kidding. Saw something on tv the other day, maybe running man or muhan dojeaon and there was a bunch of grown adults running around wearing 'amusing' head gear, bow ties and shorts and braces in bright colours and playing hide and seek. It was like an episode of the Teletubbies, for pre-schoolers. On prime time TV. Then last night I caught the wife watching a computerized version of Monopoly on TV. With commentary. And she said it was good tv. Sometimes I despair of this place Laughing

Slightly amusing, but unnecessary. Next time they should use a couple of down syndrome kids, probably cheaper than English speakers...

My wife said that they weren't making fun of waegookins. She said it's a commercial about a smart TV that recognizes your voice and turns on, and it is so good that it even understands a foreigner when they try to use Korean. Doesn't seem that bad to me...

Except that the "waegukin" was bumbling along forgetting words and not knowing enough Korean to fix his predicament i.e. the PORNO that he was watching...

THey could have used a Korean husband doing the same thing.

They could have used the same guy but instead he was watching women's volleyball.

They could have even used a non-Korean that can speak Korean half-decently.

THey chose the first idea...

Probably the same reason people constantly poke fun at the way Koreans pronounce English.

The ad is a bit off in a "Me so sorry" kinda way.

Bloody hell, get over yourself. It's like in NZ, you see an ad with a woman doing something stupid, and women's groups complain, an elderly person doing something stupid and Grey Power complains, an Asian doing something stupid and immigration groups complain.

Such misguided preciousness.

Well below your normal standard eh?

I think that's the first porno film I've ever seen where they're wearing pajamas.
