|

I have a Federal Background Check on file at immigration. If I transfer to a D-10, then find a job and transfer again to an E-2, do I have submit a new CBC as part of the application or am I okay with the one I have on file?
I apologize if this question is redundant, however I have done multiple searches on this issue and I can't seem to find a clear answer to this specific question regarding D-10s and CBCs. |

No, it shouldn't be necessary. They should have it all on file. The only thing you will likely need is a new health check and 50,000 won (x2). At least that was my experience. But this being Korea, nothing is ever done in a consistent maner.
Anyway, from my experience, no you don't need it. |

You won't need it (for immigration purposes) to switch from a D10 to an E2.
All bets are off for the MOE and your "employer's interpretation" of their requirements.
Truth is that you do not need another set and the MOE will accept immigration made copies of your CBC with apostille.
