I go to download Kakao Talk for Windows by finding a download source but it directs me to Google Play where I sign in and see that I've downloaded it already to my phone.
Is there a something I'm missing or a way to get around this?

| KT for Windows? There's a complicated workaround using Bluestacks Android emulator, but I don't think there's a real KT for Windows. |

Bluestacks isn't great. I wouldn't run it.
Best way is to use virtualbox and virtualise an android os. (I do it)
Kakao talk is currently beta testing a pc version, for koreans only, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Great....another proprietary messaging system. Complete f***ing step backwards.
