I'm doing a strength training program and I am trying to find 1kg olympic barbell plates (or 2.5 pound plates). Does anybody have any idea where I could get them, or what do you even call them in Korean so I can look for them on Gmarket?

Note: I was able to find 1kg 바벨 역기 but the ones on Gmarket are for "standard" barbells not olympic, so the hole is smaller and will not fit.

So you already have an olympic bar and bumper plates but are looking for smaller increments? Do you practice olympic lifts at home?

Here's a link to the daum cafe of the Korea Weightlifting Club which has links to amateur clubs in various cities. If you have a Korean friend look over the site with you you can probably find the info or email someone who does.

I've been to LotteMart and I've only seen standard barbell plates - I'm assuming Emart is the same

About the Weightlifting club, I will check it out. I work out at a very typical Korean commercial gym where they have olympic bars, 12 sided plates, and shit else worth anything. If anybody knows a decent powerlifting/Olympic lifting gym that accepts waegs then please let me know.

I just need the smaller increments because they only have about 2.5k and I would like to do microloading.
