My wife and I have a unit in a villa for rent in North Daegu, about 2 km from Kyungbook University. It's a 26-pyeong 2 bedroom place with lots of amenities - an air conditioner in the living room, a washer-dryer, an oven, a water purifier, a satellite dish. It also has bamboo floors and comes semi-furnished (big fridge, wardrobe, nice kitchen table and chairs, a tv and stand, a sofa-bed in the living room). The neighborhood is also nice - a huge park nearby with tennis and badminton courts, and a great woodsy area and mountain. It's quiet at night, but close to markets, Costco, and the Kyungbook area. There is also presently a satellite TV and high-speed internet contract. We are asking 600,000 for monthly rent, with just one month deposit!
