seriously? what's with you people who overvalue your used stuff?

consider that a computer might lose about 25% of it's value for the first year it's used and then perhaps around 15% each year after. the 2012 model of your machine sells new for 2,190k won. using that math your asking price would be around 1,396k won. which is exactly where it should be.

Actually, to buy that computer new would cost 2,772,800 won. I just typed in exactly what he says the specs are on the apple.co.kr page. IF you buy it in the US, then it sells for 2,168.00 dollars.

I hate when people overvalue stuff too, BUT 25% off 2.7 mil is 2,079,600 and 15% off of that is 1,767,660 won, which is within 10% of what he's asking. Unless you mean he should knock 25+15=40% off the original retail, but that's still 1.6 mil. So, why lowball the guy?

Both of you are wrong.

The only thing that matters in today's world is MARKET PRICE. How much could you buy teh same computer off the market now for? Best place would be to look on craigslist and ebay.

On ebay i found the same one listed for about 1399 usd. That's not to say that the seller could actually sell it for that much either... you would have to look at completed listings.

Nora, Apple doesn't sell this computer anymore, the one they sell is far superior to the one the seller has listed.

Jesus christ people. MARKET PRICE.

i wasn't lowballing. i'm not interested in his machine at all. i just get annoyed when people overvalue their items.

and meth, how do you think market price is calculated? my calculated price is quite similar to the "market price" you quoted. just bump up mine due to the ram quantity (didn't notice that before) and the extra goodies and 1.6mil won would be fair which is more or less the conversion of 1,399usd.

ta-dah!
