I used to use the IBK ATM to send money back to the US every month. Once set up, it's very easy and if I recall, they give you a 40% discount on one of the fees, either the flat fee or the percentage. Either way, you save a bit of money and at the time, it was the cheapest way I could find to send money home. I don't remember the exact amount but it was around 20K Won to send 1 Mil. |

I've had issues trying to get large sacks of cash back to the US. It seems after a certain threshold the bank wants to change a massive fee, not sure I understand what the heck is going on. I need to research other options.
So are we saying IBK is only a 20K flat fee to wire internationally? That seems too good to be true but would sure be great. |
