Hi.
Im collecting questions to put together to make a quiz about South Korea (or North Korea) for myself and other teachers to use with their students. Id especially be grateful for pop culture because i dont know anything about that and the students seem interested. I tried some of them out already and they seem to really enjoy sports, music and multiple choice

If you have 'anything' - no matter how small, post on the thread and Ill cut and paste it into the finished quiz below for you to C and P yourself (thanks in advance!).

this what weve collected so far...

(p.s. theres no need to read through the thread. People are hijacking it with irrelevance as usual and the finished questions will be be below anyway - thanks).

I'd suggest that something useful for the original poster would be learning to spell. A few misspellings would be understandable; however, the original post is rife with them.

I'm with Otherside: The OP seems to be trolling.

I dont know elsewhere but the 63 building is not even the tallest in Seoul.

Off the top of my head the Mok-dong Hyperion towers or at least one of them is taller than the 63.
Just checked it now, the tallest is the Samsung Tower Palace in Dogok, second the Hyperion and third is the 63.

1. Hallasan 2. Chirisan 3. Seoraksan

Also, kimchi is not made from cabbage [yangbaechu], its made from Chinese cabbage [baechu].

Me too, I like quizzing my kids about Korean stuff. Pro tip: theres this new-fangled thing called google I use for fact-checking when I'm not sure.

Korea's tallest building is Northeast Asia Trade Tower in Incheon.

The Samsung Tower Palace 3 is the tallest in Seoul but not in South Korea. There are residential towers in Busan that are even taller than the Samsung Tower Palace 3.

You could ask something like "How many floors tall is the 63 building?" I'm not sure that I actually like the expression "floors tall" but that expression could be adjusted a bit...the point is that of the 63 Building's 63 floors, only 60 (I think) are actually above ground; the other 3 are below ground. Sorry for my poor wording; I hope you can understand what I mean.

thats a good idea. The tallest building (Northeast Asia Trade Tower) has 68 stories and the second (Samsung Tower Palace 3, Tower G) has 73 stories so could use a stories/floors question. Thanks

lol insulting or ignorant...but I love your questions about baseball and food although those are too easy, everyone knows Suwon is famous for galbi because of all the restaurants named after it, but I'll bet most students don't know it's gyeonggi-do's capital city.
