Its located in Bukgu, right between the giant Lotte Mart and the Nong Hyup grocery store, to the side of Hwy 31. Its just south of the Airport, near Hwabangdong.
For those unfamiliar with it, Costco is a cooperative business, which means anyone who wants to shop there must buy a membership (it costs about 30,000). Theyre a giant warehouse of home and automotive stuff, as well as groceries. The reason this excites a lot of the foreigners in town, is that its the only place to find many of the comfort foods from home, or it sells the products at a much better price than the other supermarkets. The sell mostly bulk goods, so its not a great place to get things like soy sauce, unless you want a 2-gallon drum, but you can pick up a winters worth of chili ingredients in one fell swoop.
To get there by bus : Routes 112, 122, 203, 205, 206, 213, 216, 225, 226, 233, *235, 236, *246, 256, 266, *402, 412, 421, 422, 432, *442, 453, *462, 472, 702, *722, 732, 802, and 1402 all have stops within walking distance. Buses with an * stop closest to Costco.
This map (thanks to Jason Teale) will help the drivers find their way: The intersection at the top right is where Hwy 7 meets Hwy 31. The main road at the bottom is the road that runs past the Junggu Home Plus (not shown), through Byeongyeongdong, past the Junggu Police station (shown).
