When I decide to head back to Canada I'd like to take my shiny iMac with me. It's a 24 inch aluminum model. It is too big to take as carry-on (its dimensions won't fit the carry-on specifications). I have the original box, so would it be better to ship it home with FedEx or DHL, or to have it put in with the rest of the airplane luggage?

Anyone with advice or experience doing this? Any ideas about the cost of shipping?

UPDATE
After checking out both DHL and FedEx, the best option is for me to use a 25kg shipping box. The cost for DHL for this service was quoted to me as 500,000 won. Using FedEx's website I got a quote of little over 300,000 won.

They have 10 kg shipping boxes, too. That would suit a typical tower computer and I'm supposing the shipping cost would be about half.
