If there is the same lag time as last year when the 4S was released then the 5 should be here about Oct. 19.

I wouldn't be surprised if the release is seriously delayed because of the Samsung/Apple disputes.

Yeah...no doubt that will be a factor.
That and the Galaxy Note 2 is not yet released...can only imagine Samsung wants that on the table before Apple brings out dessert.

Seems like anybody that is visiting the US or going to Korea for the first time would do well to take 1 or 2 iPhone 5s along. You could make a tidy profit selling those to early adopters.

The iPhone 5 sold in the U.S. will not be the same model as the one sold in the R.O.K. Different frequency bands for LTE networks and all that. There will be three different models for sale worldwide.

SK and KT are looking forward to the boost in LTE subscriptions. It will be here in October.

Quite likely...but...you don't expect it to be delayed much by the KCC?
Apple has confirmed its release in more than 30 countries....Korea was not included among them...makes you wonder...no?

Judging from your choice of modal...I suspect not.Wink
Apple surely envies your confidence.

It looks like either the Sprint or (and?) Verizon iPhones sold in the US will be the same as the version sold in Korea. I'm not certain, but it seems that way.
