has anyone gone here to buy furniture? living room and bedroom stuff - are the prices comparable to other places? and is it all new furniture or do shops also sell used furniture as well?

It seems to be only new stuff, kinda pricey compared to lower priced options but pretty good quality.

Also, negotiating can drive the price down a bit.

That area for furniture has gone WAY down hill over the years, and now specializes mostly in used office furniture with a smathering of overpriced 'imported' furnishings for the home.

For lower priced, decent quality stuff, try the 2001 Outlet (one subway stop past Hapjeong Station out exit 1 and across the street, if I recall). Or you can pick up stuff at COSTCO.

Or better yet, keep an eye on Craigslist. You'd be surprised at some of the decent stuff people part ways with on the way out.
