My contract is coming to an end soon, and I would like to start working again in March.

I plan on getting the D 10 visa for that time.

However, I would also like to work at a winter camp, and do a Korean language university course during that time

How is it possible to do this?

After telling me that I could not switch from a C4 ( short term employment visa) to a D 10 visa, they then told me to visit immigration, which I will soon do.

Has anyone done this? I do not want to have to leave the country twice, and get new documents, just to go back to work.

You are pushing the boundaries of the intended use of the D10.

The only one who can give you a definitive answer is the immigration officer at the time of your applications for each change (since they have the discretionary power to make or deny the decisions).
