I'm just looking for opinions about either program (or another program you recommend) from *recent* graduates (current-2 years ago).

I'm just deciding which to attend. I've heard great things about Sogang but honestly Yonsei fits into my schedule a heck of a lot better.

I did levels 4 to 6 in Yonsei and many of my friends studied in Sogang. My experience was very good, school's organization was perfect and I never faced any issues. Classes were in the morning and we had a short, but suficient lunch break and a cafeteria downstairs. Also, we were issued a student's ID card which gave us access to the library and other facilities. If I remember correctly, we used to finish school by 13h, so I had plenty of time to work, go to gym, do my homework in the evening and socialize a bit on weekdays.
However, the program was indeed very intense and we were taught a lot of information, focusing mostly on grammar, reading, listening and building vocabulary. It is not a course you could do just to fill up your spare time, I'd say if you are not devoted don't take it up as a hobby, it will be a waste of time and money. But if you are ready to put some effort in it, then I can definitely reccomend it,and although I did struggle with the huge amount of material my Korean improved significantly and I remember breaking the phsychological bareer of not being able to express my thoughts freely and overcoming the feeling of being a complete stranger in the country. After completing level 6 people go to study in universities with Korean classes only and are not supposed to have serious difficulties with the language.
I have heard that Sogang is very good, too; and they focus more on conversation and speaking than Yonsei.I would say both options are good, these unis have a great reputation and you can not go wrong with either.Do keep in mind that it does however require a lot of work and be prepeared to study hard Wink

Great, thanks for the input! Like I said, I'd much rather have more options than just Sogang, even if Yonsei or other programs aren't *as great*.
