|
|
I have something like 69,000 KT points. My status is something like "royal gold". It appears on the top of my bill. I've been using KT continuously for three years for internet, phone, smartphones, everyhing. And just now noticed the point count on the top of my bill.
Can anybody tell me what I can do with these? |

If you have a KT card (free), you can use it to get discount in a load of places.
Family Mart and 7-11 offer a 15% discount for KT membership card holders, which is where I use mine most often. Basically you can keep getting discounts until you reach your monthly quota, which is the amount you've spotted on your bill.
This site (in Korean) shows the other discounts available - http://smile2926.blog.me/150133280947 |

I have the card. But are the discounts my only option? Can I actually buy items, sell the points, get discounts on my bill, or get cash back? |

Looking at that list there's a host of places offering discount that I didn't know about. Not the whole list but here's a sample for those who don't want to read Korean:
20%
Bennigans, Bulgogi Bros, Quiznos
15%
Coldstone Creamery, Cafe Bene, Holly's Coffee, Java City, Olleh Square/Avenue Cafe, Crown Bakery, Tous Les Jours, Bread & Co, Sizzlers, Outback, KFC, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Red Hat Pizza, GS25, 7-11, By The Way, Juno Hair
10%
Buona Pizza, Thai Orchid
There's also discounts in cinemas and theme parks:
CGV cinema: 1500W (weekdays) / 2000W (weekends) when booked through olleh.com (can be used once a month)
Megabox: 1000W (not every branch)
Lotte World: 40% off 자유이용권 (dunno what it's called in English! the ticket with no ride restrictions)
Seoul Land: 30% off (same as above)

I have no idea, but I very much doubt any of the above are possible. Would be nice! |
