| From 4 or 5 different hagwon jobs I've been able to check all options. As a result of getting older and having more random health issues though the most recent couple of jobs I've been pretty adamant about making sure I'm covered. |

My reality wasn't there: I have NHIC insurance and the booklet but I had to fight for it (in the most patient and respectful way possible) |

I'm at my third hagwon and have various experiences too.
Hagwon 1 - NHIC along with the booklet
Hagwon 2 - Covered on their private plan, but it was Wonderland and I never went to the doctor, so it's untelling what the reality was.
Hagwon 3 - NHIC in the contract, no booklet, apparently no insurance, but my boss has covered all medical costs so far. |
