I'm considering a contract for Sinsan Elementary School. I cannot for the life of me figure out where in Paju it is except that it appears to be near a water park (Honeyland I assume): this is the school website http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sinsan.es.kr%2Fwah%2Fmain%2Findex.htm

If you click "about this school" it has a "how to find us" map.

Is there anybody who knows this area? I know it's probably about an hour from Seoul and closer to Ilsan, but it would be nice to know more about it.

Also � has anyone here taught at Sinsan Elementary? The last teacher left in October, so I haven't been able to contact her, but I'd really, really like to get a feel for the admin etc. before I sign on.

If you're on Facebook there's a good group for those of us north of Seoul. I've had a few meets with them and they're a good group of people. Plus you hear about all sorts of things useful if you're 'north of the Bu'. The group is called the Northern Alliance.

Hi, I just moved to Paju about 2 weeks ago and am experiencing some difficulty finding info on other foreigners/expats living and/or working here or near here. I'd love to connect with some. I can't seem to find the facebook page JustinC mentioned. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Where in Paju are you located? Most people are in Geumchon where there is a facebook group called Geumchon Crew. They are very active and helpful. Also 'The Northern Alliance' for all the little stuff north of Seoul that one of the previous posters gave is very helpful. I was supposed to live in Geumchon but got stuck in a small town 30 minutes north. I am the only native english speaker that I have found so far. Good luck

I'm in Geumneung-dong, so quite close to Geumchon. I just requested to join the Geumchon Crew group on fb, but I still can't find the page for the Northern Alliance, and I don't know why. Any helpful hints? Thanks.

'The Northern Alliance' is an open group and there are a few people on both pages which should make it easier to find.
