I'll bet you can't wait for this show.

Quote:
Regardless of whether or not he takes the No. 1 spot on Billboard, Psy has decided to go through with a promise to give a free performance of Gangnam Style in central Seoul today.

The Seoul City Government expects up to 50,000 fans to make it downtown for the spectacle and promised to offer its full support.

Only 50,000? Why there'll be way more than 50,000 K-Pop fans there.

Quote:
At his concert in Jamsil, southern Seoul, on Tuesday, Psy reiterated the promise he made last week at a press conference upon returning to Seoul, where he announced that if he reached Billboard No. 1 he would perform bare-chested at City Hall Plaza.

BARE-CHESTED? That'll increase attendance to close to 200,000.

Quote:
Mayor Park Won-soon went on Twitter yesterday to publicize the event and added that he too was looking forward to the spectacle.

Seoul City is behind the act all the way. Lets show the world how to do it Seoul Style.? He also added that personally hed like to see Psy show some flesh.

That's because the Mayor of Seoul knows what people want to see.

Quote:
For one, the city government announced that it will prohibit cars from entering the central district, limiting access around the Press Center, Deoksu Palace, Sejongno, City Hall and Euljiro.

We expect a turnout of around 40,000 to 50,000, said a spokesperson for the government, who added that the event will run from 10 p.m., and will hopefully have the crowd engaging in the horse dance with the K-pop icon.

That means make your signs, with lots of sparkles, and bring your noise bangers and be there early. For those of us who can't make it please post lots of juicy details. Laughing

Was talking with my fiance over the weekend about his recent fame.

Came to the conclusion that all the attention will eventually do more harm than good. Being played all the damn time in every city will wear folks out..and will go the way of the Macerena....a hit that was hot for a short time, but then became hated because it got "too much" play.

But...awesome for Psy...more power to him.

That's happened to me already! When this first started I was excited for the guy and for Korea (south) finally getting some attention. I thought it was hillarious to see pro tennis, football players, American celebs doing the dance.

Now, every time I hear that song I start looking for my shotgun.

It doesn't start until 10 pm so you have plenty of time to rush home, make a big sign with sparkles, and get there to get a front row spot. That way they'll show you on the big screen and you can let everyone know how you feel. You'll be famous! Maybe they'll show you, and your sign, on the highlights! Wow! So what if you have to be at work in the morning- this is IMPORTANT!

The new macarena haha! That is exactly what it is. He is doing the smart thing and cashing in as much as he possibly can ,before everyone decides enough is enough.

This is especially true if you look like a foreigner. They love getting shots of Western people enjoying K Pop
