Hello All,

Not sure if you are aware of this yet, but there is a scam artist at work on Craig's list. His name is Neil Gabourel and it started with his advertising for extras in a movie. Well, it looks like he tried it with winter camps here as well. It was advertised as 4 million for two weeks. Yeah right, I know too good to be true. What he does is get your address so he can send you a package with a DVD, t-shirt, and a name tag. He only asked that you send him half of the shipping costs for those said items. Luckily, I caught on before I sent any money because I noticed other people posting about the movie extras job and noticed that same name. DON'T send any money to anyone who is trying to give you a job!

Apparently, some people have lost money so far...just giving you a heads up..

I got an email from him, and sent my mailing address. Thanks for the heads up.

How much are the shipping fees? Can't be much more than 10,000 won surely?

He'd need to scam a lot of people to make it worthwhile. Guess ever little helps though.

For the movie extra jobs, it was 18,000/person. I never got to find out about what he was going to charge for the camp..

I actually did a movie extra job in Japan. It was worth it. So, if anyone offers a job doing it, go, experience it. You don't need to pay anything upfront. I got paid about 100,000 won a day. One day, the weather was "bad" so, we sat in the bus waiting for it to get "better". It never did, so we were paid and asked to come another day for another 100,000 won.
