Hi guys.

I've been requested to submit documentation to prove that I was a resident in South Korea for the year 2011.

I've been told that I need something other than my contract and my Visa.

I'm from the UK and my partner is from Ireland and we both need to prove that we lived and worked in South Korea for the year 2011.

I have no documents to prove that we lived together, such as internet or mobile phone bills that were in our names and addressed to our apartment.

Is there anyway to get a pension statement or something else official from the government from outside of the country?

Many thanks

No. I left it with the bank when I closed the account.

Did you get an end-of-year tax/earnings statement or pay stubs?

Your passport will also give away when you entered/left the country?

Always keep paperwork!

Have you checked with the Korean consulate in London. Maybe a Korean National CRC or some other government document may be used as proof of stay.

Maybe there is some Korean immigration form or certificate. You will likely need a proxy/legally able person to apply for you IN Korea. Plus it will likely then need to be notarized and then apostilled to be accepted the the UK government.

I didn't get anything about earning or pension. They just took the cash and ran as far as I can remember. I have the passport visa, but need something more from them.

I'll check with the consulate and see about a CRC or the likes. Many thanks for your help. I'll update when I get more info.
