I've been browsing the brochures and have a few ideas of what seem to be fairly interesting text books for adults (as a move away from the tiresome side by side series).
Does anyone have any text books that they'd particularly recommend?
Thanks, rhi. |

Use English 21: English for the 21st Century, it's great. There are at least four levels (I think 8, but not sure.) The first level is really beginner (weather, introductions, etc.) and they work their way up from there. It's specifically for adults. It starts out with a model conversation, invites the students to substitute with new vocabulary, then there's an activity, next are discussion questions, and then phonics/pronunciation. |
