|

I want to be in Bali from Dec 20-Jan20th, but the flight prices are pretty steep. The cheapest I've found is through a korean site at about 750,000 which includes a 18 hour layover in a terrible Chinese airport. I did 4 hours Guangzhou last year and there was no heat! Flights with reasonable layovers from Incheon to Denpasar and back are close to 1,000,000 won. That seems pretty steep even for the xmas season. Should I try to go through a travel agent or is there some cheap work around I can shoot for. I wouldnt be opposed to going one way to somewhere in Indonesia and taking trains, buses, boats to get to bali since I have some time. |

We were looking at Bali for the summer (didn't end up going), but the cheapest I found was with AirAsia through KL, then either Bali or Lombok from KL.
Sorry, don't remember the price, but cheaper than all others we saw and not a terrible layover either way. (maybe 3-4 hours). |

I went through air asia and after all the fees including a 30$ credit card processing fee and no meals included, it came out to roughly 900,000 Won. And that was being flexible with the dates. January is supposed to be low season on Bali, but the flights dont reflect that. The mid January return was nearly the same price as the just before Christmas departure. Might have to go somewhere else if I can't get it below 700,000 Won. Its probably going to rain for half the trip anyway. |

I got a really sweet deal on a direct flight with Garuda Airlines (Indonesia's national carrier) from December 21 to 31, but I bought back in May I think. You should try checking their website directly, just in case. |

Not sure why the change, but I checked Air Asia again this morning and the prices were really cheap. about 250,000 each way after taxes with not so bad layovers in KL. Right before xmas as well. |
