I helped found an art space in Mangwon-dong, about a 5 minute walk from the Han river bike path and 30 minutes walk from Hongdae. We made art, music and graffiti, threw parties, hosted film screenings, and held art openings. We connected to other expat art factions and forged new collaborations. We enjoyed massively cheap rent and befriended the coffee roaster around the corner.

Now most of us founders have gone home, and the space is underused. It sorely needs new artists and musicians that are interested in fostering community.

Hello, I'm searching for studio space in Seoul beginning either in December or January, for 3-4 months. I'm an oil painter from Halifax, Nova Scotia and am looking for something small, affordable, and semi-private: I'd like to connect with other foreign artists in Korea.
