I want to use my Korean Shinhan check card to buy a plane ticket. Are there any websites that accept it as payment?

i am pretty sure korean sites like these will work fine.....im not sure if they will accept your foreigner id.......if not buy over the phone from them....

you can use it for most english websites although you have to do the whole convoluted process of using internet explorer, installing the appropriate active x controls, installing your security certificate in your local pc AND do an extra security measure upon the time of purchase.

Would I say it is a Visa or something when I go to pay? There is no Shinhan selection.

yes just use it as a visa. it's hit or miss as to whether or not it will work. sometimes i have success using it, sometimes i don't. i just use my shinhan credit card if it doesn't, but sometimes i want to use my debit card and it's annoying when i can't.
