Anyone here with KT Qook (internet)?
How long does it normally take for a technician to come and hook up a line?
I just moved next door (same building, same floor, just one door over) and I called them 10 minutes ago (today is Monday 10am) and they told me I have to wait until Friday for a technician.
Isn't that a bit long? How long do you have to wait sometimes. What makes matters worse is often these technicians will call on the day they are supposed to come and tell you they can't come today and will come tomorrow. But for me tomorrow for Friday is a weekend so that means Monday.
Is this a bit long or is this normally how long they take in Korea?
I'm in a small town just an hour south of Seoul. |

That sounds about right for your location. Obviously it's in Qook's best interests to hook you up as soon as possible. If they can't, well it's their loss. |

Mine was done next day. If there's any internet cafes in the area, they usually cost only 1000-1200 won per hour. I know it's not as good as being at home, but it can help tie you over until you get hooked up. |
