I've got a 9 month old nephew and an 18 month old niece back home. I can't recall ever seeing baby stores here, and I'm not entirely sure on what to buy for them...preferably something that they might not get at home in Canada, but also something they would actually play with.

I usually send them money or gift certificate. Their parents can pick and choose what they need. $50 or $100 should do.

Most people buy their baby gear from deparment stores, which are way overpriced. I'd go with GMarket if I were you.

Toys? Go to Emart, they always have a young kids section. They have various stuffed animals, dolls, and other traditional kid's toys for younger kids with Korean themes (pororo and the like)
