Ok, I am new here. This is my first post. I looked around in this forum and I believe this is the best place to ask my question, although I am a bit overwhelmed with the amount of forums throughout the whole site, so please go easy if this should be somewhere else.
I am in the application process for EPIK, (English Program In Korea) I am going through a recruiter called Educon, which I thought I saw was actually sanctioned by EPIK although I cannot find that on the EPIK website at this moment.
They have been very helpful and they have walked me through the process well. I have to get a teaching certificate, and they had recommended a company called Midwest Education Group (midwested.us) for a 100 hour TESOL online program. It says on the site they are certified by the Illinois board of education, but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them, and if I should indeed go through the course with them or somewhere else?
I have not been able to find much info on them at all. I am trying to do all the independent research I can but it is hard to gain all that knowledge without having gone through any of this before.
Thanks for your help
EDIT : it is actually midwested.us, not midwested.com. The correction is reflected above. |
