I was told it would be sometime around early December. Should be any day now...

I'm waiting to hear back too.

I had to fill out a paper asking if I wanted to renew my contract about 3 weeks ago. About a week after that they gave me a paper saying I cannot renew due to the budget and "some other facts of our school." It sucks, I really liked this school and wanted to stay.

I'm at a high school, and I heard from my co teacher that there won't be any foreign teachers in Gyeonggi-do high schools next year. Does anyone know if this is true?

It has been reported numerous times in Korean media. Not only Gyeonggi-do, but throughout Korea.

The paper I received saying I could not renew was from the school.
