Don't work there. I was trying to find a job for my friend a little while back and I talked to a foreign teacher there on the phone after actually having an argument with the guy who does the hiring. He didn't want to let me talk to a foreign teacher, so I told him then my friend wouldn't be interested in working there. So after arguing with me about it and telling me what an amazing position it was and how I dishonored the school (?), he finally let me talk to the entirely unenthusiastic, depressed sounding foreigner. It sounded like he was pulling a runner. He said that the person who had been there the longest was there for two months and she was a Korean-American who was discriminated against for being Asian. They also threatened not to hire my friend because she is Hispanic.
The place sounds sketchy. I'd steer clear. |

haha, it was the most unprofessional interview ever. the guy didn't even tell me his name and he pointed out that several of his teachers pull midnight runners.
no brainer situation there. |
