So a month ago I sent in for my FBI background check for the upcoming GEPIK hiring season. I used my credit card as a method of payment for the application. Here's the deal, a couple weeks ago somebody made a clone of my card and tried to make some fraudulent charges overseas. The card was cancelled, I got a new one with a new card number. It appears that I wasn't charged for the application before the old card got cancelled. This leaves me to believe that when they finally unearth my application from their pile they're going to do nothing with it since the card will be declined when they try to run it. Is there ANYTHING I can do to avoid having to send in another background check application and cutting it even closer to the GEPIK application deadline? Any advice is greatly appreciated! |
