Can any locally based planetary explorers recommend any particular travel insurance company or package?
What I've read so far is that it's not possible for locally based expats to buy any at Incheon airport, and, I heard from another that World Nomad are pretty awful despite their ability to swamp the google search engine results with their first listing. Is this all accurate, or wrong?
A related issue is that I want to travel overland first and then take a plane later (ie. overland to Singapore, then fly on from there). Hence the question as to whether I take the airplane company's offer of coverage just while on the plane, or, is it impossible to get a separate company's coverage to cover that within the total cost and distance of the trip, and simply get a better price on the air ticket?
Any ideas, advice, or experience shared - especially but not exclusively on local companies - are heaps appreciated. |
