|
|
I live in a somewhat smaller city in Korea, and every time I've been to a club they always break out into this one chant. It's a call-and-response that goes like this:
One guy: (4 syllables)
Crowd: (Same 4 syllables)
One guy: (Same 4 syllables)
Crowd: (Same 4 syllables)
One guy: (2 syllables, 2 syllables, 6 syllables)
Crowd: (Same 2 syllables, 2 syllables, 6 syllables)
Does anybody know what they're saying? It kind of sounds like a soccer chant. Is this just a Korean thing, or is it some international chant that I just don't know about? |

Actually, now that I think of it, the first part has FIVE syllables, not four. It sounds like: "BA ba-BA ba-BA!" |

It's a Korean thing, and it doesn't really mean anything. It's the equivalent of a "disco call." If you hear it, it usually means the DJ is doing a solid job of working the crowd. |
