So I had my interview with Korvia a couple weeks ago and they were super nice and excited to have me apply. They sent me my application and I filled it out. I sent it back in to them and they asked me to add a little more information so I did. I sent it back in over a week ago by email and I have still not gotten any response. It seems off and on has anyone else experienced a slow email response time with them?

Korvia can get pretty swamped, and they're probably dealing with all the paper-work for the spring intake.

Just keep on the ball and remind them that you still exist. Usually they're pretty good about responding to your inquiries.

I assumed as much, but I wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. Also wanted to be sure my email wasn't failing at sending message again lol. I really like my recruiter as Korvia they are just so friendly.

They're probably very swamped now.
Last week the axe fell on over 350 middle/high school teachers with GEPIK, many of whom would have been sending in their applications. Additionally, I'm not sure if you're in Korea or not, but last week had a public holiday, and Tuesday was also a holiday for Christmas. These all slow things down, if you haven't heard anything back by next week, I'd send them a mail.

They were also off for Christmas on Monday and Tuesday. So combined with the weekend, that might be why.

I got my job through Korvia early last year and I do agree they're friendly. They hold parties too once every 3-4 months in Seoul and get all the people they hired to come. I've met the staff personally, and they're cool.

Yeah, I talked another recruiter and they said they were busy so I would imagine Korvia is too, since it it's one of the most visable recruiters here in Korea. Yeah, just send an e-mail and remind them again but keep in mind that the job situation here is getting quite unstable...
