My flight is at 7:30 am so I need to get there at 5:30 am. I live in Bucheon, near Yeokgok station. Are there any airport limousines running at this time and where would the closest one be? If not, how much do you think a taxi would be? Or would it just be cheaper to stay at the Incheon Airport Guesthouse (25,000 a night per person for two people in a double room)? I would rather stay at the guesthouse than the jjimjilbang because the jjimjilbang is actually more expensive.

If a taxi would be less than 50,000 won then I'd just take a taxi in the morning.

4:30am is an ungodly hour to ask someone for a favor to drive us to the airport, so that option is out.

Thanks.

The airport bus is W10,000 per person. You can look up your route on the internet. First buses usually start at 4:30am.

I took it from Yonsei University and it took 50 minutes to get to the airport. I slept all the way there. Saved money, energy and time for me.

If you want to take it easy and not have to get up at the crack of dawn, then stay at a guest house the night before your flight. I stayed at the Queen Hotel in Incheon - pretty sure that's the name. Cost me US$75 on Agoda.com Great room. There's also a free airport pick-up/drop-off bus service on call. The people at the desk are also pretty fluent in English, if needed.

Heres a link to the different routes:

I checked the bus from Sosa station and it doesn't start running until 5:30. Spa On Air (the jjimjilbang at the airport) is 15,000 with no private room until 8 pm so I think we'll just get there before 8 and find some mats to crash on.

Also, just FYI for next time, there is a much cheaper guesthouse (40,000 for a single or 50,000 for a double) there. It's just called the Incheon Airport Guesthouse.

If you want the cheapest option, take the last train to the airport and sleep there.

Another option is to stay at a local hostel nearby the night before and take a taxi to the airport after that. That way you aren't rushed and if traffic gets bad, you'll be pretty close to the airport anyway. Or even the subway as a non-taxi option.
Hostels cost around 20,000won a night for the dorm rooms and have all the basics you need. A pair of earplugs and you're golden.

There is a Jimjil bang in the basement of the airport. You leave your luggage out in the front and the desk staff take care of it. I stayed there after returning on a late flight from Kuala Lumpur. Had a good sleep there actually. Wink

I stayed in that airport town (unseo?) a year or so ago in a hotel called Orange Hotel. From memory it was only 40,000 a night and 2 minutes walk from the subway station. I think it's 2 stops on the AREX from there to the airport. Not sure however what time the AREX starts running.

Actually, this is the best option. They have comfy couches and wi-fi on the second level above the departing area. No one will bother you.

It's probably less than 50k, but I can't say for certain. Honestly, sleep in your own bed and take a taxi. It's much more convenient.

I mentioned this before but I decided to just sleep at the jjimjilbang at the airport. Thanks everyone.

Yeah, the closer to the airport the better.
I hate getting up early.

I lived in the area before and have left several times. Your best bet is to stay in Unseo-dong, there are many hotels that average W40-50K/night. Many of them have van service to the airport. Even if they don't, they will call a taxi for you and it's around W10K and about 10 minutes away.

Go to the hotel, get a good night's sleep, get up early and do everything at your leisure instead of running like a bat out of hell from somewhere else. My 3.1 won worth.................
