Same airlines... keep shopping around and watch for the seat sales.
Vietnam air had a few cheap seats (~400k all in) with about a 6hr layover in VN when I looked.
Bad news is that, for flights to/from Korea, it is considered to be peak season from now till March 2 and seat sales/cheap seats will be hard to come by.
Alternatively, bite the bullet and take a direct, non-stop flight at your convenience without the layovers. How much is your vacation time worth to you and do you want to spend it waiting in airports or on the beach?

I ended up just going with the Chinese airline because my wife has a very narrow vacation window. She wasnt able to get her schedule straight until last week, which is why we had to wait until now to search for tickets. Thanks for the ideas! |
