I have seen some postings from this place, located in Seoul near the Euljiro 1-ga Station. Has anyone worked here? A search of Dave's has brought up only a few comments from several years back and I wanted to see if there were more recent experiences that the Dave's community has experienced. Back then, reviews were mixed. Have things improved? Thanks! |

I worked there for four months about a year ago. I found it an extremely difficult place to work. The split shifts were hard enough, but the work environment made it pretty much unbearable. One of my co-workers was fired for absolutely no reason, the boss was always making petty complaints (be more cheerful when you greet students) and demands (spend your weekend reading and summarizing the textbook), and if you don't fit into her rigid idea of the 'model employee' be prepared to be bullied.
That said, I actually liked most of the students and teaching adults one-on-one. If you can get on the good side of the boss (it helps to be an attractive, subservient, flirtatious male) then you might be okay. |
