Ok, I have an F6 visa, but before I got it, I submitted an apostilled copy of my university degree, and an apostilled FBI CBC, won with my blood, sweat, and tears.
I was under the impression that the MOE would accept COPIES of the docs that immigration has on file.
But now I'm being told that I need to submit originals to the MOE, and that my CBC cannot be any older than six months. I have also been told that I will have to get a NEW CBC every single time I apply for a new job.
This seems beyond ridiculous to me.
So who's right? |

On an E1/E2 then they take copies of the ones on file at immigration.
On an F2/4/5/6 they want originals since immigration is no longer responsible for vetting your credentials for your visa status.
You need one every time you change jurisdictions not every time you change jobs AFTER the local MOE gets their original copy for the first time.
Sorry
