I have my own place in Seongnam city (Bundang is a district in Seongnam).
I hear that it is common for schools in Bundang to only offer housing allowance because of high rent.
Is this very common???
I want to keep my place and I can live with a short commute to work (I am looking for a GEPIK position for the fall).

So you mean that you want to stay in the apt you are in now, but this new education office will not provide the key money, only the 400,000 per month rent money and no key money - is that what you mean?
If so - you could always contact the owner your apt to see if you could switch to paying monthly rent instead?
It would prob be more than the housing 'allowance' so you might have to stump up an extra 100 or 200 of your 'own' money..... |
