Hi guys! I'm looking into applying to a hagwon for the fall semester. I applied to EPIK last year and was getting all the documents for the visa when I decided it wasn't a good decision for me at the time.
My question is... am I eligible for an F-4 visa? If I'm not, no biggie and I'll apply for the E-2, but from what I'm hearing, the F-4 is much cheaper and easier.
I am half Korean and half Puerto Rican, born in the US. My mother was adopted from Busan, South Korea at 4-5 years old, and she has her naturalization papers (somewhere). If she can't find them, I think she can get another copy somehow... but hypothetically, if she does have them, do I still qualify as being of Korean ethnic origin even though I'm "only" half Korean? If so, can I apply for the F-4 visa? How would I prove my name is not on the family registry?
Thank you! |
