I have an F4 visa I actually have not set up my health insurance yet but intend to do that this upcoming week. Can you also get travel insurance in Korea? How much does it cost? |

I have a problem as well. I am British passport holder but havn't lived in the UK for about 2.5 years. I've currently got a D-4 visa dated August 2012.
I went back to the UK over Christmas and returned to Korea on 4th January 2013.
Whilst in the UK i tried to get new travel insurance for my return. However, because I was currently in the UK but had been living outside for over 6 months I couldn;t find anywhere that would insure me. I also tried worldnomads and worldwidesinsure which are apparently do 'specialist' insurance for people already abroad etc.
On my return to Korea i have tried to get insured through NHIC but was told because my last entry date to Korea was 4th Jan I have to wait 3 months from that date before I can get insured through them.
Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I can get 2/3 months of travel insurance seeing as I am now already in Korea.
Much appreciated. |
