|
|
In 2011 I was looking for a job and I think I got two jobs sent to me that was kindy. Now I'm looking for a job again and every single job sent to me and every interview I have is for kindy. Is that all that is out there now? Or is this the prime kindy hiring season? I have never taught kindy, but I'm considering it to see how the experience is. |

Prime season for kindy. Enrollments for the new term are pretty much confirmed (students returning and guesstimates for new enrollments) and teachers need to be found.
Only 5 weeks till the new school year starts.
Elementary/middle school (after school) hagwons usually peak in March/April (after kids are in school and extra curricular activities are worked out).

I think it may also be due to some posts I have seen warning people off kindy.
Some posts I have seen said kindy is the worst due to staff politics or something. |

The kindy kids are the best, but I think people shy away from the jobs because of the long hours.
Also, midnight runners from Wonderland could be causing the same kindy job offers to be recycled over and over throughout the year. |
