It's new. It's Taco Bell's first nod to the Korean market. Has anyone tried it? |

Looks nasty, I'd never eat it. Taco Bell's menu in Korea is a lot different here, don't think this is a first. I can eat essentially nothing on the menu here. No gorditas or chalupas, psf. |

The menu here is almost the same. They just don't have certain items. But it tastes exactly the same. I should know, I worked at taco bell when I was in high school. |

I think the food tastes the same as in the Taco Bell restaurants in the USA. They do use those Doritos Loco taco shells. Maybe they don't have everything because they want to keep the menu simple. If you eat at Taco Bell you'll see Koreans in line asking questions about everything.
The restaurants are usually crowded so the restaurant is a hit with the locals. We knew it would be a hit with the expat crowd but we are a tiny part of the overall market. |

So what did you eat at Taco Bell pre-1998 or whenever it was that the gordita came out?
I must say, I do miss a good mexi-melt and those cheesy potatoes. |

What did I eat at Taco Bell 15+ years ago? Odd question from an oddball. Back to the Super Bowl. |

What "cheesy potatoes" are you talking about? They do have tacos with potatoes here. |

I tried it the other day in Hongdae.
It's too sweet in my opinion. The cheesey potatoes on the other hand weren't that bad at all. Just kinda weird having it as a substitute to Nachos. |

I'll try it with plenty of cheese or maybe sour cream. |

Some "Fire" sauce will take care of any sweetness. |

You say you can eat nothing on the menu because they don't have chalupas or gorditas. So what did you eat at Taco Bell before they came out with chalupas and gorditas? You could probably find that. Unless you always ate Tostadas and Mexi-melts.

They used to have chives though...
Anyways, Taco Bell has never quite been the same since they ditched Dr. Pepper for Wild Cherry Pepsi. |

I said I can eat essentially nothing. I can't answer your question, I don't remember that shit. I've never had a tostada or Mexi-melt, quesadilla every now and then, grilled stuffed burrito, those are the only things I can eat at taco bell here. |

You didn't ask me but I can answer that. The only thing I ever ate in a Taco Bell prior to trying it in Korea was the chili cheese burrito. I was mighty pissed when it was discontinued.
