|
|
I need some new shoes (athletic) for everyday use. I've asked and looked around and all I get is Itaewon, but nothing more specific. I will be in Seoul briefly this weekend and was hoping to pick up some new shoes (US size 13) but I don't have time to go to a bunch of stores. I'll maybe have an hour to an hour and a half tops. Has anyone had success finding shoes in a similar size and if so, can you tell me the store you went to? |

Yes Itaewon will have your size, I have bought many pairs there.
You can also custom design and order shoes from the Adidas store in Times Square shopping mall near Sindorim station on lines 1 and 2. I had to get a 13.5 because they come a little narrow (they hurt my feet for a week or two but once broke in feel fine).
Those are the best two options I have found |

Itaewon should have what you need. I wear a 15 and everything seems to be just below my size. |

I just bought 10 1/2 (which is apparently monstrous here) at Shoemarker and they advertised up to at least 310 cm or so that might be worth a look. In front of Hamilton on the same side of the street, face away, turn right, it should be just before Burger King and Agra, about 100-150 meters down. |

ABC Mart in Itaewon had several Adidas Original styles in large sizes (305, 310 even) that fit my US 12-13 size feet. |

Shoemarker in Itaewon had a 'big size' section the last time I was there but it was a fairly grim selection. It's the same with ABC Mart and all the other shoe shops in Itaewon. If you like basketball style space shoes it is great, but for the normal/popular designs they usually stop at 290 or 300. I wear 310 and I rarely find shoes I like in that size.
If you are lucky you might get something, but I recommend just buying off the internet. |
