I'm just filling out the required paperwork to send off for my E2 visa, and just have a query I hope someone can help me with. Under the academic career section, it asks for my Uni details (address, phone number, web page etc), so I assume this means they contact the university to verify my details.
The slight problem I have is that the degree I did has moved campus, so while my records are held in one place, the relevant department is held in another. Having previously had a total nightmare trying to get transcripts for a job here in the UK, and being ferried about from one campus to the next, I'm not sure if I should add an explanatory note and give both campus sets of details, as I don't want any hold ups, but at the same time don't want any confusion!
Would really appreciate any advice. |

Due to data protection they can't contact the Uni for verification anyway so I wouldn't worry about it. |

Problem solved then! I'll just put down the campus details of where the degree is now held so that if they check online it all tallies up - don't want things falling through at the final hurdle! |

That's what I always thought, until one day I called up my undergrad uni - to be told they were willing to verify to any prospective employer. |

It's not the employer though, everything with them is sorted, it's with the Korean Embassy in the UK? Tried to speak to them on the phone but there was something of a language barrier and she couldn't seem to understand what I was asking. |

You're worrying far too much. Put down both addresses if you like, that's your job done. Whether or not the embassy will try to verify is anyone's guess, but in any case you simply fill out the form - and that's the end of the matter. |
