I just heard that that Universities are no longer allowed to host English camps. The reason behind it is that they were able to sell classes taught by Professors, in state of the art facilities, all the while undercutting the Hakwons. Any truth to this? |

It seems highly unlikely as every administration promises to cut the costs parents have to pay for private education, and to get rid of hagwons.
But you never know in Korea.
I'm glad my uni doesn't have kids camps, or I wouldn't be here. I don't teach kids, ever. |

I know for a fact that university camps are still running this winter. If such a law were in the works the universities would be very publicly up in arms about it. |
