I did a Dave's search for Jungang University in Seoul and nothing came up. Same over at Waygook. Has anyone heard of this university, or better yet worked there? The vacation days absolutely suck (we're talking hogwan bad) but does anyone know anything else about this place?
Thanks in advance,

sorry but your research skills are abysmal.
Type jungang university into google and it shows the common spelling is now chungang.
type 'daves ESL chungang'...into google and hey presto.. loads of threads.. |

I have no idea what it's like to work there, but I used to live fairly nearby and always liked the area.
The neighborhood itself is kind of old but with plenty of restaurants, markets, etc. Its also near the subway (line 7) and loads of buses, so it's easy to get other places. It's just a few stops from Express Bus Terminal in one direction or a short bus ride to Itaewon or Yongsan/downtown, etc. if you go in the other direction--if those sort of things matter to you. |

My exchange year over there was probably my best year in Korea so far.
Awesome times. |

Jung-Ang is a university that is one tier below the SKY. Traditionally it is progressive and quicker to adapt to foreign ideas. In Korea most are ashamed to reveal their alma mater (except for SKY graduates of course), but JungAng does get blurted out sometimes. |
