Hello everyone,
I was wondering...is it possible to apply to public schools through recruiters, but NOT through EPIK/GEPIK/SMOE? I noticed that the recruiters only place in private schools, but if they mention public schools, they work through EPIK/GEPIK/SMOE. I really don't want to work at a hagwon, so I want to find out all my options for getting a job at a public school. Thanks  |

Korvia is a wonderful organisation that I would recommend. They place teachers into public school positions depending on qualifications and experience. Don't forget you will be competing with teachers who might hold various qualifications (MA, CELTA, etc) as well as have experience of teaching but we all start somewhere. I started my teaching career at a Hagwon and you quickly learn what is expected.
