I know those two are practically the same and used interchangeably but I'm still wondering if you have done your 100 hours or 120+ hours plus which out of those two did you decide to have put on your certificate?

Tesol - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

Tefl - Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Wondering also if they both carry the same value in Asia, Europe and the Middle East?

I say on my CV that it's a Trinity Certified TEFL, but the actual document says certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Mine's a TESOL, took 4 months of 8-hour Saturdays, and pretty much all of my free time during the week doing reading and written assignments. It also counts towards a MA-TESOL.

You forgot TESL, as in 'Teaching English as a Second Language'.

For CELTA holders, I would recommend NOT just putting "CELTA" on your resume, or even "Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults". It's probably best to write what is actually on the top of the certificate - "Cambridge ESOL Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA)".

Though it is becoming more well-known, a lot of employers in Korea will not know what a CELTA is. If you put the "...Teaching to Adults" it may put off owners of hakwons or PS recruiters. Just my opinion (based on experience).
